A new charity set up by founder Chantelle Tagoe in order to raise money for under-privelaged children in South Africa.
Fingers in Pies was enlisted by the BBC and Chantelle, to create and launch a workable concept, to raise awareness, finance and feature alongside the documentary.
We brought in a professional, freelance fashion team to build a bespoke show within a renovated Victorian gentleman’s club. The show featured items from the collections of:
- Harvey Nichols
- Amechi Ihenacho
- Elvis & Jesus
- Constanze Friedrichs
- Club London
‘GOAL For South Africa’ . This was the first fashion gala and launch event for the foundation. This event was then featured on the BBC.
Fingers In Pies collaborated with MFN to co-ordinate the venue, staffing and a high profile VIP guest list. See the fashion show images here on the Manchester Fashion Network.

Model and TV presenter Chantelle Tagoe featured in the BBC3 series Wag’s Kids and world cup dreams which aired in 2010 where she spent two weeks caring for sick, abandoned children in the most poverty stricken areas of South Africa.
On her return to England, Chantelle has since started up a charity called the One Goal Foundation to raise money for the places she visited in South Africa. She will also focus on a new charitable goal each year and plans to help a different organisation in need, as well as the South African charities.
