Constanze Friedrichs, born in 1976 in Germany. She graduated from Hamburg University with an MA in French and German Literature. The same year, she took up a BA in Fashion Design at London College of Fashion, from which she graduated in 2007 with first class honours.

Her graduate collection, with its oversized shapes and utilitarian details, made it into the selection for the LCF press show at the Royal Academy in 2007. After working for Monique van Heist in Rotterdam, she arrived in Manchester in 2008, where she set up her own label. She designs bespoke Womens- and Menswear, often using end of roll fabrics and cut offs which otherwise would be wasted.
At the minute, her main focus lies on men’s shirts, mainly due to her work for Manchester-based bands Silverclub and Jim Noir as well as various DJs and musicians.
